Why I Built This Site
When I first got licensed, I struggled to find practical answers. Forums were full of conflicting opinions, and most of the content out there felt disconnected from the kind of real-world use I needed. That’s why I created KI5QHC.com — a place where I can share the knowledge I’ve gained from hands-on experience with radios, antennas, power gear, and prep tools that actually work.
I live on a small homestead, so everything I do has to be functional and field-tested. I’m not just a hobbyist — I use this stuff for real.
